The Town Council has no allotments of its own, but there are three allotment sites in the town.

Wood Street Community Park is covered by 8 CCTV cameras owned and operated by Earl Shilton Town Council.
Other CCTV systems in the town are provided and run by HBBC. Should you witness an incident, please report it to the police on 0116 222 22 22, or dial 999 for emergencies.

The Town Council is the Burial Authority for the Mill Lane Cemetery.

The Council provides dog waste bins in all of its parks and green spaces with additional 'on-street' bins in Breach Lane and Elmesthorpe Lane.
